NO-TOOL FIRST CHECKS
Low sprinkler pressure?
Start with what you can safely observe. Skip any step you are unsure about; these checks do not guarantee finding or repairing the fault.
1. Compare the affected areas
Observe whether all zones, one zone, or just a few heads look weak. Note when the problem began and whether anything recently changed.
2. Look for visible clues
From a safe location, look for pooling water, a visibly broken head, or unusual spray. Photos can help; digging and pressure gauges are not needed to begin.
3. Avoid replacing parts on a guess
Low pressure can have several causes. Record observations and ask for guidance before buying a timer, valve or pump. Stop if uncontrolled water or electrical hazards are present.
